With the creative concept coming from Bubble, we start the technical challenge: transform a physical activation into an interactive, fluid and responsive experience. It was necessary to ensure that anyone with a smartphone could connect, wait in the virtual queue and control the crane in real time, all without registration or technical barriers.
The challenge was to deliver a lightweight, accessible interface fully integrated with the crane machine hardware, with communication via the MQTT protocol. In addition, navigation needed to be extremely intuitive, so that anyone, when connecting to Google's Wi-Fi, could play quickly and in a fun way.
Together with the Bolha team, we mapped out the user flows, game states and remote control of the crane. We created an interface that was adaptable to different devices, with clear visual feedback and real-time integration, ensuring harmony between the physical activation environment and the digital layer of the project.
follow55 developed the crane interface using Vue.js and its ecosystem (Vuex and Vue Router), integrating with Eclipse Mosquitto via MQTT to allow the web app to physically control the machine. Everything was developed to run directly from the browser, without the need for app installation, registration or login.
The activation was a success in all the stations where it took place: the gifts sold out quickly and the digital experience surprised users. The interface created by follow55 was essential for the smooth running of the campaign, ensuring usability, stability and speed.
