The project began with an understanding of the new dynamics of hybrid work and the need to visually and functionally organize the environments at Alpargatas headquarters. The idea was to create a simple, intuitive system that was integrated into the employees’ daily routine, offering a practical alternative to reserving fixed workstations.
The main challenge was to represent, in real time, the occupancy of the office floors, with a system that allowed users to locate colleagues, view free spaces and check in at the chosen work position.
All office spaces have been mapped into a visual interface that combines accuracy and usability. Employees could view available stations and collaborative areas, filter by floor or sector and choose where to work, with the option of checking in directly on the map or via QR Code positioned on the desks.
